Endowed faculty positions attract eminent national and international scholars, who draw other notable faculty and the brightest students to TCU. 

Here, we feature newly endowed chairs and professors being recognized in the 2024-2025 academic year as they begin their first full year in their new roles. TCU thanks its generous donors and congratulates these deserving faculty. 

Craig Crossland
John V. Roach Dean
Neeley School of Business
Craig Crossland was named the John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School of Business following an international search. He joined TCU from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. There, he developed a collegewide strategic plan and helped build the college’s first Ph.D. in management. He has extensive leadership and administrative experience.

Sharrona Pearl 
Andrews Chair of Interdisciplinary Studies
John V. Roach Honors College 
Sharrona Pearl is the inaugural Andrews Chair of Interdisciplinary Studies. She was trained as a historian of science and medicine, and her research focuses on bodies, particularly the face, from an interdisciplinary perspective. In the new role, she will focus on the college’s longstanding commitment to creative approaches to pedagogy, interdisciplinary teaching and community-engaged learning. 
 

Lee Knox 
Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Professor in Ranch Management
College of Science & Engineering
Lee Knox was named Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Professor in Ranch Management and brings a focus on resources and conservation to the program. Previously, he was a district conservationist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service and served as a county extension agent for ¹ú²úÂ鶹AV A&M AgriLife Extension.
